Alex Bowman reveals 2019 Nationwide paint scheme

Alex Bowman revealed his 2019 No. 88 Nationwide paint scheme at the GoPro Motorplex in Moorseville, North Carolina, on Thursday.

Former No. 88 and Nationwide driver Dale Earnhardt Jr. was also on hand for the reveal. Earnhardt drove the No. 88 Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet from 2008 until his retirement at the end of the 2017 season.

The 2019 season will mark Bowman’s second full-time season with Hendrick Motorsports and the No. 88 team. Over the course of his 2018 season, Bowman earned 11 top-10 finishes, three top fives and put the No. 88 Nationwide Insurance Chevrolet on the pole for the season-opening Daytona 500. After qualifying for the 2018 NASCAR Playoffs later in the season, he advanced through the Round of 12 with the help of a fourth-place finish at the Charlotte road course.
