Kyle Busch sweeps stages to win Strat 200 at Las Vegas

Kyle Busch surged to victory on Friday night in the Strat 200 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway in the Kyle Busch Motorsports No. 51 Toyota, his second win in a row in the NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series.

Coming off of a record-breaking win at Atlanta last weekend, Busch dominated the entire race, winning Stage 1 and Stage 2. He led 111 of 134 laps and started from the pole.

Right behind him was the 2018 NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series champion Brett Moffitt in the No. 24 GMS Racing Chevrolet, whose late-race pass attempts came up short.

Rounding out the top five were Matt Crafton in the No. 88 ThorSport Racing Ford, Stewart Friesen in the No. 52 Halmar Friesen Racing Chevrolet and Harrison Burton in the No. 18 Kyle Busch Motorsports Toyota.

Friesen led 20 laps at the Stage 2 restart until Busch caught up to him to take back the lead for the remainder of the race.

Only one caution flag flew for an incident on Lap 7, when Sheldon Creed in the No. 2 spun coming off Turn 4. Crafton and Corey Roper in the No. 04 were behind him and got caught up in the smoke. Crafton suffered some damage after scraping the wall but Roper rammed into the back of Crafton causing a lot of damage to his truck.

Grant Enfinger, the Truck Series points leader entering the event, finished 11th in the No. 98 ThorSport Racing Ford.
