CONCORD, N.C. (AP) — The Latest on motorsport’s busiest day (all times local):
10:30 p.m.
NASCAR All-Star race winner Kyle Larson has crashed at the Coca-Cola 600 with 84 laps left, taking out Austin Dillon.
Larson was in the middle of the track when he clipped Clint Bowyer, sending his No. 42 Chevrolet back down to the lower side of the track where he sandwiched Austin Dillon into the inside wall. After that Larson sailed back up to the top of the track, forcing Ty Dillon into the outside wall.
“I put myself in a bad spot and got sideways,” Larson said. “That was all on me.”
Larson and Austin Dillon are behind the wall. Ty Dillon and Bowyer were able to stay on the track, although Ty Dillon is a lap down.
It has been a caution-filled race with 14 yellow flags.
Chase Elliott has taken the lead in the race.
