Monster Energy Series practice at Las Vegas canceled due to rain

The second Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series practice at Las Vegas Motor Speedway has been canceled due to inclement weather.

With persistent rainfall in the area, officials put the session on hold roughly 20 minutes prior to the start of practice, which was slated to run from 11:30 a.m. – 12:25 p.m. ET. NASCAR elected to cancel the session several minutes later.

Final Monster Energy Series practice at Las Vegas is scheduled from 2:30-3:20 p.m. ET today.
