Reddick has five top-five finishes in seven starts.

Michael Schumacher set the lap record in that inaugural race at 1:32.238. … Hamilton and Valterri Bottas have won the season’s first two races and are 1-2 in the standings as a result. Bottas has 44 points and Hamilton has 43. … Bottas led 18 laps in China last year, but a bold move by Ricciardo forced the Finnish driver to settle for second.

Rossi was the first pole sitter to win the race in 11 years last season.
